
Red Lake Falls - Patricia "Pat" Anderson, 64, died on Monday, June 21, 1999 at Riverview Hospital in Crookston.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 24 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls with Reverend Bill Reck officiating. Dawn Halvorson was the organist. Casketbearers were Brian Sletten, Mike Daufelt, Charlie Daufelt, Mitch Anderson, Randy Anderson and Dave Harder. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery near Red Lake Falls. The Petterson Funeral Home of Red Lake Falls was in charge of the arrangements.
Patricia Mabel Bower was born on June 25, 1934 in Vancouver, WA, the daughter of Henry and Frances (Hubbard) Bower. She moved to Minneapolis with her family at a young age and attended school there. She worked in Minneapolis and the Mille Lacs area for several years.
On December 31, 1977 she was married to Ray Anderson in Selby, SD. The couple lived in Red Lake Falls where Pat worked as a cook in restaurants and during the past few years as a seamstress in Thief River Falls.
She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, knitting, flowers and gardening and was a member of the Legion and VFW auxiliaries.
Pat is survived by her husband, Roy Anderson of Red Lake Falls; one son, Mike (Melissa) Daufelt of St. Paul; two daughters, Kim Sletten of Red Lake Falls and Sherry Daufelt of Bloomington; five stepchildren, Mitchell (Nancy) Anderson of Thief River Falls, Kim Anderson of Middle River, Randy (LeAnn) Anderson of Roseau, Michelle (Mike) Frericks of Badger and Dawn (Dave) Harder of Baudette; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
