Karlstad - Krista Anderson, 20, died Sunday, May 31, 1998 near Viking due to injuries sustained in a car accident.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 4 at 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Warren with Reverend Michael Sullivan officiating. Casketbearers will be Shane Bodell, Scott Oistad, James Oistad, Carl Anderson, Kent Kostrzewski and Joshua Kostrzewski. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Warren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today (Wednesday, June 3) with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and for one hour prior to services on Thursday. The Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home of Warren is in charge of the arrangements.
Krista Leigh Anderson was born on August 20, 1977 at Thief River Falls, the daughter of Vicki Anderson and Kevin Kostrzewski. She was raised in the Karlstad area and attended school in Karlstad. She was a program coordinator for the REM-Valley Group Home in Karlstad.
She enjoyed all sports, including golf, softball and volleyball. She also enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her friends.
Krista is survived by her parents, Vicki Anderson of Karlstad and Kevin Kostrzewski of Florida; one brother, Joshua of Karlstad; and grandparents, Gene and Phyllis Anderson of Strandquist.
She was preceded in death by three children, Jared, Johnathan and Jessica Landreville; and special friend, Lawrence Landreville.
