
Crookston - Dorothy Anderson, 82, died Friday, February 27, 1998 at a Crookston Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 5 at 2 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Crookston with Reverend David Sherry officiating. Interment will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Crookston.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. with a 3 p.m. prayer service at Villa St. Vincent Nursing Home in Crookston and for one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. The Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home of Crookston is in charge of the arrangements.
Dorothy Mae Kelley was born on March 6, 1915 at Crookston, the daughter of Edwin Kelley and Stella Barlow.
She attended college in Arizona where she was trained as a teacher. She was also an accomplished violinist and artist.
On September 21, 1940 she was united in marriage to Harold C. Luckow, a farmer in the Crookston-Fisher area until his death on January 5, 1976.
Dorothy married Ordean L. Anderson on February 27, 1979. They enjoyed retirement years on his Grygla farm until he died on June 27, 1996.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane (John McCain) Michel-McCain of North Ryde, New South Wales, Australia and Debra J.L. Falcon of Belen, NM; and three grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; an infant daughter, Mary Grace; one brother, Gordon Kelley; and two sisters, Nanette Kelley and Kathleen Kelley Hettler.
