Edina - Alfreda B. Anderson, 73, formerly of Thief River Falls, died Thursday, June 11, 1998 after a brief battle with cancer.
A memorial service was held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bloomington on Monday, June 15 at 11 a.m.
Alfreda B. Anderson was born on July 13, 1924 at Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Alfreda thrived on opportunities to serve others and enjoyed her family, animals, travel adventures and ice skating. She was a member of the Bloomington Ward of The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by one son, Roger (Jeanne) Anderson; two daughters, Sheila (Peter) Bruce and Lynne (Scott) Anderson-Stokke; and four grandchildren.
Alfreda was preceded in death by her husband, James.
