Armond Amiot, 67

Thief River Falls - Armand Amiot, 67, died on Sunday, November 16, 2003 at his home.

Armand Amiot was born in Gentilly on July 29, 1936, the son of Armand and Lisa (Corbin) Amiot.

He married Tessie (Mills) on February 17, 1956 in Reno, Nev. Armand and his family owned and operated Amoit Tables in Nerstrand for 17 years. He retired and moved to Thief River Falls in 1998.

Survivors include his wife Tessie of Thief River Falls; four sons, Aaron (Sharon) of Minneapolis, Alvin (Vicki) of Nerstrand, Clayton (Cindy) of Racine, and Norman (Laurie) of Dexter; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence (Betty); five sisters, Ursula Dahl, Theresa Dougherty, Elaine Kjonaas and Vicki Hermes, all of Thief River Falls, and Roselie Hanson of Hastings; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and eight brothers.
