- Chad Alberg, 41, died Sunday, April 14, 2002
at his home in Roseau.
Funeral
services were held Friday, April 19, at 11 a.m. at
Moe Lutheran Church in Roseau. Helgeson Funeral
Chapel of Roseau was in charge of the
arrangements.
Chad
Bryan Alberg was born on August 1, 1960 in Roseau,
the son of Stanley and Theresa (Hammer) Alberg. He
attended Roseau High School where he enjoyed
wrestling for the Rams and graduated with the class
of 1979. Following graduation, he moved to North
Dakota and worked in the oil fields. He returned to
Minnesota and worked at Polaris for a short time
before going to work at Marvin Windows in 1984. He
was employed there for 18 years. In 1986, Chad
purchased the family farm. In February, he began
working for the Central Livestock Association while
continuing to farm.
He
enjoyed hunting, visiting with family and friends,
playing practical jokes, and especially spending
time and traveling with his daughter.
Chad
is survived by his daughter, Breann of Shakopee;
his parents, Stanley and Theresa Alberg of Thief
River Falls; four brothers, Myles (Kathy) of Thief
River Falls, Ron (Mary) of Holt, and Dave of
Roseau; two sisters, Debbie (Bert) Erickson of
Roseau and Kim (Curtis) Berg of Thief River Falls;
and several nieces and nephews.
