Spokane,
Wash. - Ralph J. Aaseby, 71, died on Tuesday,
May 18, 2004.
Memorial
services will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church
in Spokane, Wash.
Ralph
was born to Iver and Anne Aaseby of Thief River
Falls. He was the youngest of 17 brothers and
sisters, all of whom preceded him in
death.
Ralph
was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Millwood
and retired from Kaiser Aluminum after 38 and 1/2
years. Ralph was an incredibly gifted accordion
player and also loved to play the fiddle and
miniature banjo. His hobbies included hunting and
fishing but his passion was a Swiss Chalet cabin
that he built himself at Bead Lake,
Wash.
Survivors
include his wife, Betty Aaseby, whom he married
December 29, 1951; two sons, Bruce W. Aaseby of
Olympia, Wash. and Jeffrey D. Aaseby of Spokane;
four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and
nephews.
