William Zeller, 60

St. Hilaire - William Zeller, 60, died Wednesday, August 2, 2000 as the result of an automobile accident near Thief River Falls.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 11 at Green Funeral Home Chapel in Thief River Falls. Burial will be in Golden Valley Cemetery, Roseau.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of services on Friday.

William Fred Zeller was born on March 28, 1940 in Beulah, N.D., the son of Adolf and Christina (Becker) Zeller. He grew up and attended school in Beulah were he was baptized and confirmed in the Baptist faith. Following school, he worked on various farms and ranches in the Beulah area. He also traveled around the country working at several carnivals, worked for Montana Oil Company and as a guard at the North Dakota State Prison in Bismarck. William served in the U.S. Army for a short time.

In 1960, he was united in marriage to Peggy Ann Klatt at Beulah, N.D. where the couple continued to reside.

In 1984, William moved to Thief River Falls where he worked for several companies. In 1994, he moved to St. Hilaire where he had since resided. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and racing cars.

William is survived by one son, William Gary Zeller of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one daughter, Patricia Kay Zeller of Calhan, Colo.; two granddaughters; one brother, Ewald Zeller of Kissimmee, Fla.; three half brothers; seven half sisters; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his fiancee, Marlys Olson.

He was preceded in death by one son, Dean Fred Zeller; his parents; four half brothers; and four half sisters. A00003B2000AG09
