Grand Rapids - Nora Ystesund, 95, died Saturday, March 22, 1997 at Itasca Medical Center in Grand Rapids. Arrangements were with Peterson Funeral Chapel of Coleraine.
Private family services were held at the Peterson Funeral Chapel with Rev. C. Arlin Talley officiating. Burial was in Thief River Falls.
Nora was born in River Falls Township, Red Lake county, the daughter of Emil and Minnie (Jeske) Just. She lived most of her life in the Bemidji and Thief River Falls area. She has lived in Colorado for nine years and for the past year had been a Grand Rapids resident. She was a home maker.
She is survived by sons Donald Stensrud of Spokane, WA, John (Helen) Stensrud of Trout Lake and Jim (Theresa) Stensrud of Grand Rapids; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Fran Stensrud of Atherton, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Henry Stensrud; second husband Ole Ystesund; daughter Doris and son Roscoe Stensrud.
