
Viking - Charles "Pake" Wymore, 23, died Saturday, December 20, 1997 at North Valley Health Center in Warren as the result of a car accident.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 23 at 2 p.m. at the Green Funeral Chapel with Reverend Paul Chell officiating. Ida Nordvall provided organ music, and Sheri Chell was the soloist. Sheri and Krista Chell sang a duet. Casketbearers were Steve Dunrud, Craig Dunrud, Gerry Hemreck, Tom Steinhauer, Danni Halvorson and Vance Peters. Burial was held in the Viking Cemetery, rural Viking. The Green Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Charles Pake Wymore was born on August 30, 1974 in El Dorado, KS to Chuck and Kay (George) Wymore. He attended school in Leon, KS and graduated from Bluestem High School. After school, Pake worked as a welder at various locations before moving to Viking with his parents in 1994. At that time he began employment as a welder with Minnesota Limited where he continued to work until the time of his death.
He was a member of Aggasiz Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed four-wheeling, shooting his guns, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Pake is survived by his parents, Chuck and Kay Wymore of Viking; one brother, Chris Garrison of El Dorado, KS; his maternal grandparents, John and Mildred George and paternal grandmother, Margaret Wymore, all of El Dorado, KS; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Marvin Wymore.
