Barbara Woodruff, 43

Strandquist - Barbara Woodruff, 43, died Tuesday, September 12, 2000 at her home in St. Charles, Mo.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, at Assembly of God Church in Karlstad with Rev. Ernie Freeman and Rev. Robert Tripp officiating. Denise Aakre and Lois Freeman served as accompanists, and vocalists were Lloyd and Dean Johnson and Kurt Aakre. Lois Freeman also presented a violin solo. Casketbearers were Tim Nordin, Paul Anderson, Andrew Thompson, Ken Mould, Ken Dowell and Vernon Blazejewski. Interment was in Karlstad Cemetery with Collins Funeral Home of Karlstad in charge of the arrangements.

Barbara Thompson was born on February 21, 1957 in Karlstad, the daughter of Isaac and Betsy (LeDoux) Thompson. She grew up in the Strandquist community, graduating from Strandquist High School in 1975. She resided in Grand Forks, N.D. and attended Northwest Technical College in East Grand Forks for a year. In February of 1979, she moved to Springfield, Mo. where she made her home for eight years prior to moving to Phoenix, Ariz.

On September 29, 1990, Barb was united in marriage to Tom Woodruff at Assembly of God Chruch in Karlstad. The lived in Phoenix until 1993 when they moved to St. Charles, Mo. where they had since resided.

Barb is survived by her husband, Tom; parents, Isaac and Betsy Thompson of Strandquist; two brothers, Richard (Carol) of Red Lake Falls and Robert (Cathy) of Strandquist; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. A00003B2000SP20
