Harry Wilebski, 59

Greenbush - Harry L. Wilebski, 59, died Saturday, February 12, 2000 at the Greenbush Nursing Home.

Services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Benwood with Father Bob LaPlante officiating. Anna Shafer was the pianist, and the vocalist was Mary Kingsbury. Casketbearers were David Shafer, James Wilebski, Bill Shafer, John Wilebski Jr., Ray Hanson and Ronnie Lorenson. Military honors were accorded by the Greenbush American Legion Post 88. Interment was in St. Joseph's Church Cemetery in Benwood. The Collins Funeral Home of Greenbush was in charge of the arrangements.

Harry Louis Wilebski, the adopted son of Samuel W. and Mary (Masloski) Wilebski, was born on May 17, 1940 at St. Paul. He was baptized at St. Paul Cathedral. He grew up in the Greenbush community, graduating from Greenbush High School in 1958.

Harry served in the US Army from May of 1960 until he was discharged in August of 1964. He worked as a bookkeeper through the years and made his home at Greenbush and Badger and most recently, the Benwood community. Harry resided at the McIntosh Manor at McIntosh and since October of 1999 at Greenbush Nursing Home.

He attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Benwood.

Harry is survived by two sisters, Pauline (Tony) Burkel of San Juan, TX and Frances Weslowski of Lamont, IL; one brother, Sam (Lou) of Rose City, MI; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and four sisters. A00003B2000FB16
