Sharon Wensloff, 56

Roseau - Sharon Wensloff, 56, died Friday, August 6, 1999 at the Roseau Area Hospital in Roseau.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 10 at First Lutheran Church in Roseau with Reverend Frank Livingston officiating. Interment was in Malung Cemetery in Roseau. The Helgeson Funeral Chapels was in charge of the arrangements.

Sharon Louise Clasen was born on March 21, 1943 at Bud Hospital in Roseau, the daughter of Arthur and Rosalyn Clasen. She grew up in Falun township and attended grade school in Salol. Following her graduation from Roseau High School in 1960, she attended the University of Minnesota.

In 1961 she returned to Roseau and began working with the laboratory staff at Roseau Area Hospital. After 37 years she retired in March of 1999 due to health problems.

Sharon was united in marriage to David Wensloff on August 25, 1962 in Pencer township.

She was avid sports fan and taught Sunday school at First Lutheran Church.

Sharon is survived by her husband; one daughter, Theresa (Matthew) Anderson of Reedsburg, WI; three sons, Tracey (Bonnie), Troy (April) and Todd, all of Roseau; her mother, Rosalyn Clasen of Roseau; one brother, Fred Clasen of Roseau; and eight sisters, Margaret Pearson of Salol, Irene Sheridan of Baudette, Evelyn Slick of Baudette, Inez Starren of Roseau, Phyllis Ebeltoft of Edmond, OK, Geraldine Larson of Hoyt Lakes, Mildred Eaton of Roseau and Imogene Nordby of Littleton, CO.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1974 and one sister, Norma Slick. A00003B1999AG11
