Spokane, WA - Frederick J. Wengeler, 87, died Tuesday, September 2, 1997.
Funeral Mass was held Saturday, September 6 at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Spokane. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery. The Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Frederick was born in Munich, ND. In 1951, he moved to Spokane, WA from Thief River Falls. He worked for the Postal Service as a mail carrier.
His first wife of 47 years, Bernice, died in l979.
Frederick is survived by his wife of 17 years, Violet; two daughters, Judy Bell of Anchorage, AK and Jennifer Wengeler of Seattle; a stepson, Robert Wedde of Cheney, WA; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
