Grand Forks, ND - Sylvia Well, 75, died Saturday, February 19, 2000 at Elim Nursing Home in Fargo, ND.

Sylvia Ardith Erickson was born on September 18, 1924 in Thief River Falls, the daughter of Sol and Amelia Erickson. She grew up and graduated from high school in Thief River Falls. Following graduation, she moved to San Diego, CA where she worked for Rohr Aircraft Company. In about 1951, she moved to Grand Forks, ND.
On August 30, 1951 she married Glenn G. Well in Crookston. She graduated from Aakers Business College in Grand Forks. She was employed by the State Employment Office, Bureau of Mines, the Grand Forks Police Department, the University of North Dakota and Simplot before retiring in 1986. In 1990, Sylvia moved to West Fargo, ND and later to Fargo where she was a resident of Bethany Towers from 1998 until she entered Elim Nursing Home in 1999.
Sylvia is survived by one son, Robert (Patty) Well of Newport, OR; one daughter, Renee Well of Fargo, ND; one sister, Helen Kennedy of Phoenix, AZ; and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn who died on October 28, 1994. A00003B2000FB23
