
Oxnard, CA - Ella Mae Weiss, 75, died Saturday, April 24, 1999 at Oxnard, CA.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, April 29 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Terrebonne with Father Tim Bushy officiating. Burial was in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Wylie. The Petterson Funeral Home of Red Lake Falls was in charge of the arrangements.
Ella Mae St. Yves was born on May 22, 1923 in Terrebonne, the daughter of Edward and Bertha St. Yves. She was raised and attended school in Terrebonne.
On October 21, 1941 she was united in marriage to Henry Weiss at Terrebonne. The couple lived in Red Lake Falls for a year before moving to Plummer. In 1964 they moved to California where she has since resided. Henry died on June 18, 1985.
Ella Mae is survived by two daughters, Joan Halbach of Oxnard, CA and Mary Weiss of Ventura, CA; one son, Bob (Lucille) Weiss of Oxnard, CA; four grandsons; six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Marrietta Sauve of Vancouver, WA, Jean Nordlinder of Woodenville, WA and Virginia St. Yves of Red Lake Falls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Weiss; one son, Gerald; one grandson; James Halbach; her parents; four brothers, Wally, Paul, Armand and Oliver; and three sisters, Modest, Noella and Bernice. A00003B1999MY05
