Oklee - Raymond Wagner, 59, died Thursday, December 4, 1997 at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 8 at Lund Lutheran Church in Gully with the Reverend Bob Kelly officiating. Interment was in the Lund Lutheran Cemetery. The Cease Funeral Home of Bagley was in charge of the arrangements.
Raymond Wagner was born on September 16, 1938 at Berner, the son of Otto and Tillie Wagner. He attended school in Gonvick where he lived and farmed. In 1962 he married Ferol Gorze at Leonard. The couple lived in the Twin Cities before moving to Gully in 1964. Ray worked on construction and was an auctioneer. He moved to Oklee in 1996.
He is survived by three sons, Daniel (Kerri) of Plummer and Robert (Julie) and Jeff (Holly) of Gully, both of Gully; two daughters, Renae (Dan) Sundquist of Gonvick and Rhonda (Jeff) Spencer of Grand Forks, ND; 11 grandchildren; his father, Otto Wagner of Larimore, ND; two sisters, Arvilla (Don) Meinhardt of Golden Valley and Gloria (Cliff) Thompson of Moorhead; and two brothers, Kenny (Carol) of Plymouth and Glenn of Gonvick.
Raymond was preceded in death by his mother.
