
Thief River Falls - Pearl Trosvig, 90, died Wednesday, December 31, 1997 at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 5, 1998 at the Glende-Johnson-Nelson & Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls with Reverend Rhuben Aga officiating. Burial was at Bethlehem Cemetery.
Pearl Evelyn Peterson was born February 8, 1907 in Pelican Rapids, the daughter of P.K. and Carrie Peterson. She attended rural school in Pelican Rapids and Pelican Rapids High School.
On December 3, 1924 she was united in marriage to Helmer Trosvig at the First English Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. Pearl worked at different hospitals in Fergus Falls and Ft. Wayne, IN. For several years she worked at the Regional Treatment Center in Fergus Falls. After her retirement, she joined the Foster Grandparent Program and worked for many years at the Regional Treatment Center.
Pearl is survived by two sons, Richard (Linda) Trosvig and Howard (Geraldine) Trosvig, both of Ft. Wayne, IN; one daughter, Connie Ferber of Thief River Falls; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth (Victor) Petterson and Esther (Melvin) Norgren, both of Fergus Falls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Helmer on November 19, 1967; one son, Lloyd; three brothers, Knute, Curtis and Elmer Peterson; and five sisters, Charlotte Norland, Inez Berg, Clara Erickson, Ethel Leland and Lillian Trosvig.
