Libertie A. Traxler, 4

Roseau - Libertie Traxler, 4, died Thursday, March 5, 1998 at the Roseau Area Hospital.

Funeral services were held on Monday, March 9, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the Moe Lutheran Church in Roseau with Reverend Cheryl Berg officiating. Graveside services were held at 4 p.m. Monday at the Emmerdsville Cemetery in Plummer. The Helgeson Funeral Chapel of Roseau was in charge of the arrangements.

Libertie Anne Traxler was born on November 9, 1993 in Thief River Falls, the daughter of Robert and Kim (Sunsdahl) Traxler. She was born with Tay-Sachs disease. Libertie lived her entire life in Roseau where her father works at Polaris Industries, and her mother works at the Roseau Area Hospital.

Libertie was an honorary member of the Roseau Girl Scouts and a member of Moe Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her parents, Robert and Kim Traxler of Roseau; her grandparents, Obert and Sandy Sunsdahl of Thief River Falls and Anne Traxler and Wayne Tronnes, both of Plummer; great-grandmother, Ardelle Ostgarden of Thief River Falls; and several aunts and uncles and a cousin.

Libertie was preceded in death by her grandfather, William Traxler.
