Augusta, GA -- Aleda Olsen Tolen, 93, died February 13, 2000 in Augusta, Ga.
Aleda was born on June 29, 1906 in St. Hilaire, the daughter of Alfred and Anna Olsen. She married Melvin Voldness on September 13, 1924 in Thief River Falls. They moved to Chicago, Ill. Melvin died on April 15, 1967. Aleda married Gerald Tolen and resided in Tavares, Fla. After Gerald's death, she continued to live in Florida until 1999 when she moved to Augusta, Ga.
Aleda is survived by one daughter, LaValliere Hemrick of O'Sallon, Ill.; one son, Charles Voldness of Augusta, Fla; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren. A00003B2000MY03
