Lonnie Thode, 46

İİİRed Lake Falls - Lonnie Thode, 46, died on Monday, August 30, 2004 at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 3, at the Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, with Rev. Jason Asselstine officiating. Honorary casket bearers include Jerry LaCoe, Oren Cassavant and Mike Drader.

İİİLonnie Ray Thode was born on April 21, 1958 in Crookston, the son of Fred and Cecile (Casavan) Thode.He was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Crookston and attended school in Crookston through the fifth grade and then attended school in Red Lake Falls.

İİİFollowing high school he attended carpentry at the vocational school and worked for Vigen Construction and area farmers. Lonnie was also employed at Bakerís Acres for many years, B and B Recycling and St. Hilaire Seed Company.

İİİHe enjoyed traveling, from seeing mountains to the coasts, ice fishing, spearing, snowmobiling and spending time at the casino. He loved spending time with his grandson, Dylan.

İİİLonnie was united in marriage to Kathy Kalbakdalen in December 29, 1979.He married Kim Miller-Lian on July 18, 2004.

İİİLonnie is survived by his wife, Kim of St. Hilaire; six children: Amy (Shaun Brandt) of Thief River Falls, Valerie (Matt Lundgren) of Roseau, Brian Thode of Thief River Falls, Josh (Vikki Hutchinson) Huth of Thief River Falls, Jesse Lian of St. Hilaire and Cassidy Lian of St. Hilaire; one grandson; his mother, Cecile Thode of Red Lake Falls; brothers and sisters: Raymond (Katie) Thode of Mentor, Donna (Les) Cota of St. Hilaire, Nancy (Neal) Vraa of Red Lake Falls, and Keith (Loni) Thode of Red Lake Falls; and many nieces and nephews.

İİİHe was preceded in death by his father, Fred Thode; and infant sister; and one brother, Leon.
