Hallock - Florence Sundblad, 94, died Friday, October 6, 2000 at Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center in Hallock.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 14, at 1 p.m. at Teien Covenant Church, rural Drayton, N.D. with Rev. Leroy Aufenkamp officiating. Betty Dahl was the organist, and the soloist was Clarence Skaren. Casketbearers were Roger Anderson, Darron Benson, Terry Fredrickson, Michael Larson, Larry Coltom and Orrin Coltom. Interment was in Teien Covenant Church Cemetery. Adamson-Austin Funeral Home of Drayton was in charge of the arrangements.
Florence N. Sundblad as born on January 25, 1906 in Teien township of Kittson county, the daughter of John and Caroline (Johnson) Sundblad. She attended rural school in Teien township and lived there her entire life.
She was a life-long member of Teien Covenant Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school for many years.
Florence enjoyed making quilts.
Survivors include three nieces, including Carol Coltom of Strathcona, and several great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Paul, Waldo and John.
