Bobby Stromgren, 33

St. Paul - Bobby Stromgren, 33, died Tuesday, December 7, 1999 at United Hospital in Minneapolis.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 10 at Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls with Rev. Dan Horn officiating. Grace Hammer was the organist and soloist. Burial was in Westaker Cemetery in New Folden township of Marshall county.

Bobby Ray Stromgren was born on July 6, 1966 in Karlstad, the son of Reuben and Delores (Sorenson) Stromgren. He was baptized in the Christian faith. From 1970 until 1973 he lived in foster homes in Viking and Holt, and from 1973 until 1974 he lived in a Fergus Falls foster home. From 1974 until 1976 he lived at a school home in Brainerd and in 1976 moved to a children's home in Sauk Centre. Bobby resided at the State Hospital in Fergus Falls from 1981 until 1985 when he moved into an adult foster home in the Twin Cities area where he resided until the time of his death.

Bobby is survived by his mother, Delores McMahon of Grand Forks, ND; his father, Reuben Stromgren of Strandquist; three sisters, Carol Stromgren of Thief River Falls, Donna Stromgren of Grand Forks, ND and Diane Stromgren of Ada; one brother, LeRoy (Kalyn) Stromgren of Thief River Falls; one half brother, Dan McMahon of Phoenix, AZ; and his grandmother, Ruby Stromgren of Hallock.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emil and Edith Sorenson and Carl Stromgren. A00003B1999DC15
