Myrtle Stoskopf, 89

Thief River Falls - Myrtle Stoskopf, 89, died Thursday, January 27, 2000 at her home in Thief River Falls.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 31 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Warroad with Father Duane Pribula officiating. Interment was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Warroad with the Helgeson Funeral Home of Warroad in charge of the arrangements.

Myrtle Marie Lundgren was born on April 29, 1910 at Badger, the daughter of August and Selma (Erickson) Lundgren. She grew up and attended school in Warroad, graduating from high school there.

She married Charles Stoskopf on November 27, 1929 at Warroad and continued to live there until 1976 when she moved to Thief River Falls.

Myrtle enjoyed needlework, baking, gardening and spending time with her family.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Warroad and ladies aid groups in Thief River Falls.

Myrtle is survived by three daughters, Charlotte (Richard) Sperling of Grand Forks, ND, Theda (Arlen) Booren of Thief River Falls and Beth (Jim) Jacobs of Kansas City, MO; two sons, Douglas (Edna) Stoskopf of Blackduck and Clayton (Roxann) Stoskopf of Warroad; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; two children, Theda and Michael; two brothers, Richard and Hermes; and three sisters, Agnes, Linda and Florinda. A00003B2000FB02
