
Casselton, N.D. - Hunter Stavenes, infant son of Stephen and Debbi Stavenes, died Sunday, October 1, 2000 at his grandparents' home near St. Hilaire.
Funeral services
will be held at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday, October 4) at Grace
Evangelical Church in Strathcona with Rev. Marcia Sylvester
officiating. Ruthie Mos-beck will be the organist, and the soloist
will be Diane Johnson. Tamara Wallace will be the reader. Interment
will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Strathcona township of Roseau
county.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Tuesday, October 3, at Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to services at the church.
Hunter Stephen Stavenes was born on July 18, 2000 in Fargo, N.D. He was baptized on September 10 at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis.
Survivors include his parents, Stephen and Debbi Stavenes of Casselton, N.D.; grandparents, E. Kenneth (Mary Ann) Johnson of Greenbush, Marilyn (Kelly) Mosbeck of Red Lake Falls and Wayne (Geri) Stavenes of Thief River Falls. great-grandparents, Carlyle (Grace) Askeland of Grygla, Basil (Eunice) Stavenes of Grygla, and Ruth Mosbeck of Red Lake Falls; honorary great-grandmother, Constance McFarlane of Greenbush; and several aunts and uncles.
Hunter was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Einar and Gerda Johnson and Joseph and Esther Adamski.
