
Hamilton, MT - David C. Simning, 70, died Saturday, February 6, 1999 at Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, MT.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 13 at Green Funeral Home Chapel in Thief River Falls with Reverend Daniel B. Drown officiating. Sheri Drown will be the pianist. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls.
Funeral services will also be held today (Wednesday, February 10) at 11 a.m. at Hamilton Christ Bible Church with Pastor Ed Pomelear officiating.
David C. Simning was born on October 16, 1928 in Minneapolis, the son of Dewey and Edith (Larson) Simning. He was raised and educated in Minneapolis, graduating from the Minnehaha Academy. He entered the painting profession and worked as a private painter.
On October 13, 1979 he married Carol Ann Carlson in Apple Valley. The couple owned and operated the Master's Touch Bookstore in Grand Rapids before retiring and moving to Hamilton, MT in 1993. After moving there David worked for Pigman Builders. He was a member of Christ Bible Church in Hamilton.
David is survived by his wife, Carol Carlson Simning of Hamilton, MT; one son, Jeffrey Simning of Birmingham, AL; one daughter, Vicky (Stephen) Boutwell of Appleton, WI; two grandchildren; and one brother, Gordon Simning of Mount Prospect, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
