Isanti - Karil Sevre, 59, died Saturday, February 7, 1998 at the Vencor Hospital in Golden Valley.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, February 11 at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls with Reverend Gary Johnson officiating. Music will be provided by Van Swanson and Ida Nordvall. Casketbearers will be Wes Brinkman, Todd Hoglo, Tony Hoglo, Tracy Hoglo, Troy Hoglo and Marv Olson. Burial will be at Lanstad Cemetery. The Strike Funeral Home, Isanti Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Karil Ann Lull was born February 6, 1939 at Thief River Falls, the daughter of Frank and Alma Lull. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church.
On October 31, 1964 she was united in marriage to Duane Sevre at Thief River Falls. They made their home there until 1968 when they moved to Minneapolis. In 1974 they moved to Isanti. For most of her working years she did secretarial work. Duane died in January of 1989. She enjoyed her home and her cats.
Karil is survived by two sisters, Vonnie (Dick) Hoglo and Sandy (Mike) Whalen, all of Thief River Falls; one half-brother, Bob (Gloria) Love of Arizona; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
