Pasedena, CA - Graveside services will be held for Bette Seth in the family plot at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls on Friday, June 20 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Gary Johnson from Zion Lutheran Church officiating.
Bette Lorraine Moore was born March 3, l921 to Charles and Olive (Porter) Moore in Rainy River, Ontario, Canada. She was raised in Duluth and regularly visited family in Thief River Falls. She moved with her family to Texarkana, Texas and then to Glendale, CA in the l940's. During her working years, she was employed as a pharmeceutical clerk. She resided in Glendale until her illness and death.
Bette Seth, 75, died on March 2, l997 at the Brighton Convelesence Hospital in Pasedena, CA.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jim Edwards; one niece; two grand nieces; two great-grand nephews; and one great-grand niece. Surviving relatives in the Thief River Falls area include Dorothy Chapman, Sherry Sorenson, Helen Hall, Mary Reierson, Alice Patten, Isabel Patten, Edith Sandum and other cousins.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Elayne Morella; grandparents; two aunts; and two uncles.
