J. Seppala, 87Waukegan, IL - Carl J. Seppala, 87, died Tuesday, June 30, 1998 at Victory Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held on Friday, July 3 at 10 a.m. at Marsh Funeral Home in Waukegan, IL. Carl's niece, Pastor Diane Tetrault, officiated. Burial was in the North Shore Garden of Memories.
Carl J. Seppala was born on November 27, 1910, the son of Charles and Aurora Seppala. He married his wife Lorraine on July 19, 1941. Carl served as a technical Sgt. in the U.S. Army from April of 1943 to January of 1946 in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Church, the VFW, and American Legion and the Eagles.
Carl is survived by his wife, Lorraine; two sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Victor and Enard; and three sisters, Ann Olson, Margie Maki and Martha Hulko.
