Phoenix, AZ - Michael Scott, 51, of Phoenix and formerly of the Goodridge area died Tuesday, March 4, l997 at Community Hospital Medical Center of complications of hepititus.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 8 at St. Francis Xavier Church in Phoenix.
Born in Monroe, WA, Michael grew up on a farm near Goodridge. He earned a bachelor's degree from Bemidji State University in l968 and graduated from Arizona State University's Law School in l971.
A Phoenix attorney, Michael successfully defended Arizona political figures Evan Mecham and former U.S. Attorney General Richard Kleindienst during the l980's.
He is survived by his mother, Lucille Bruneau, and his daughters, Taylor Elizabeth Scott and Sierra Lou Scott.
