
Crookston - Minnie Schulz, 88, formerly of Euclid, died Tuesday, June 9, 1998 at Riverview Nursing Home in Crookston.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 12 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Euclid. Interment was in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Euclid. The Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home of Crookston was in charge of the arrangements.
Minnie Behlke was born on January 10, 1910 at Euclid, the daughter of Adolph and Katie (Willers) Behlke. She attended school at Euclid.
She was united in marriage to Werner Schulz on October 16, 1928. The couple lived and farmed in Euclid township until their retirement in 1950. Werner died on January 13, 1984.
Minnie was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Euclid where she played the organ for 50 years.
She is survived by three sons, Harold (Eunice) Schulz of Grygla, Martin (Delores) Schulz and Clifford (Lindy) Schulz, both of Euclid; three daughters, Bernice (James) Sherry of Crookston, Edna (Sidney) Anderson of Fisher and Arlene (Dale) Huot of St. Hilaire; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Lydia (Charles) Kopecky; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Minnie was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one great-grandchild; one brother, Walter; and two sisters, Emma and Elsie.
