
Prairie du Sac, WI - Eileen R. Salveson, 68, died Thursday, November 19, 1998.
Funeral services were held on Monday, November 23 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Fred Rilling officiating. Burial was in the Prairie du Sac Cemetery. The Gnewikow-Hooverson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Eileen Ruth Johnson was born in Grygla on August 30, 1930, the daughter of John and Minnie (Bisbing) Johnson. On December 17, 1947 she married James J. Salveson. The couple moved from Minnesota to the Sauk Prairie, WI area in 1961. Eileen was employed by Flambeau Plastics in Baraboo, WI for 29 years, retiring in 1993.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Sons of Norway in Wisconsin Dells, WI.
Eileen is survived by her husband, James Salveson of Prairie du Sac; three daughters, Bonnie (Bob) Kehl of Sauk City, WI, Linda (John) Herbst of Sauk City, WI and Julie (Randy) Hehenberger of Yukon, OK; two sons, Dean (Cathy) Salveson of Sauk City, WI and Wayne (Wendy) Salveson of Byron, IL; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd (Virginia) Johnson of Sacramento, CA and Roy (Emma) Johnson of Arlington, WA; and four sisters, Esther Lindquist of Thief River Falls, Agnes Parnow of Goodridge, and Mabel Halvorson and Betty Thompson, both of Seattle, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Harold Johnson; and one sister, Laura Grimley.
