Grace Rowley, 81

Lebanon, MO - Grace Rowley, 81, died Sunday, December 27, 1998 at Breech Medical Center in Lebanon, MO.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lebanon with Reverend Johannes W. Brann and Reverend John W. Myers officiating. Special music was provided by Sandy Myers and Willa Faye Viele. Casketbearers were Glenn Alford, Jack Pendergrass, Bob Russell, Henry Meyer, Tim Peters and Warren Sauerbrei. Interment was in Mount Rose Memorial Park. The Holman-Howe Funeral Homes were in charge of the arrangements.

Grace was born on March 8, 1917 in Crookston and grew up in the Greenbush area. She graduated from Greenbush High School.

On April 19, 1941 she was united in marriage to Gail Wells Rowley. The couple raised their family in Minnesota, and in addition to being a homemaker, Grace worked for a time at Arctic Cat Enterprises. In 1982 they moved to New Orleans, LA to be closer to their son. For the last seven years, Grace, Gail and their son, Weldon, have lived in the Lebanon, MO area.

Grace was a longtime member of the Lutheran Church and was currently a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lebanon.

She enjoyed reading and especially enjoyed her family.

Grace is survived by her husband, Gail; one son, Weldon Rowley of Tunas, MO; two daughters, Kathryn Olson of Thief River Falls and Ramona Rowley of Brooklyn Center; one grandchild; and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her mother.
