
Crookston - Corrine Ricord, 90, died Tuesday, October 17, 2000 at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine.
Funeral services were held on Friday, October 20, at 2 p.m. at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in Crookston. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Corrine Helen Morin was born on July 3, 1910 at Argyle, the daughter of Wilfred and Virginia (Brossoit) Morin. She grew up on the family farm and attended a country school. When she was 15, she moved to Thief River Falls and worked there.
In 1934, she was united in marriage to James Jensen at Thief River Falls. The couple had four children and made their home in the area. In 1949, Corrine moved to Crookston.
In 1972, she was united in marriage to Clifford Ricord. He died on February 3, 1994.
Corrine was a member of the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception and a former member of St. Anne's parish.
Survivors include three daughters, Maybelle Enget of Crookston Geri (Ernie) Tougas of Red Lake Falls and Bonnie Dominguez of Grand Forks; a son, Robert (Janice) Jensen of Grand Forks; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Orellia Nelson and Irene Langford, both of Breckenridge; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; her parents; a brother, Adrian Morin; and four sisters, Sr. Joan Morin, Mamie Rhode, Elizabeth Trudeau and Bertha Hanson. A00003B2000OC25
