Arlene Rehm, 63

Thief River Falls - Arlene Rehm, 63, died Thursday, February 4, 1999 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 1999 at Silver Creek Lutheran Church, rural Thief River Falls, with Reverend Robert Dahlen officiating. Melodee Rupprecht was the organist, and Van Swanson was the soloist. Casketbearers were Mark Lindholm, Mike Lindholm, Kenneth Sylskar, Waldo Thompson, Keith Erickson and Jim Jarshaw. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls. The Green Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Grace Arlene Knutson was born on May 24, 1935 in Thief River Falls, the daughter of Harry and Ella (Olson) Knutson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Arlene attended rural country school and graduated from Lincoln High School. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Olson.

Arlene worked at Emrick's Bakery in Minneapolis for about four years before returning to Thief River Falls where she worked at various area locations. She was united in marriage to Otto Rehm and continued to make her home in Thief River Falls.

She enjoyed collecting cookbooks, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Arlene is survived by one son, Kevin (Paula) Olson of Thief River Falls; two grandchildren; and one brother, Harley (Vi) Knutson of Thief River Falls.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Olson; her second husband, Otto Rehm; her parents; one grandson, Scott Alan Olson; and one brother, Glen Knutson.
