Roosevelt - Bruce Ravndalen, 31, died Wednesday, September 2, 1998 as the result of an accident in Grand Forks, ND.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 6 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church in Roosevelt. Interment was in the Silent City Cemetery in Roosevelt. The Helgeson Funeral Chapel of Warroad was in charge of arrangements.
Bruce Otto Ravndalen was born on September 13, 1966 in Roseau, the son of Otto and Eileen (Olson) Ravndalen. He grew up in the Roosevelt area and attended school in Warroad, graduating from Warroad High School in 1986. Following high school, he worked at Marvin Windows for five years. He then attended Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls. For the past several years he has been living in Thief River Falls where he worked at Northern Pride.
Bruce is survived by his mother, Eileen Ravndalen of Glenwood; two sisters, Brenda (Udean) Sargent of Glenwood and Barbara (Doug) Smith of Newfolden; and one brother, Robert (Marlin) Ravndalen of Roosevelt.
He was preceded in death by his father.
