
Thief River Falls - Maximillian "Max" Radniecki, 23, died Thursday, May 20, 1999 in an automobile accident in Marshall county near Grygla.
Mass of Christian burial was held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief River Falls with Father Dennis Wieland officiating. Kristie LaSalle was the organist, and special music was provided by the Resurrection Choir. Casketbearers were Nathan Anderson, Scott Anderson, Eric Bjorgaard, Jason Hruby, Wade Johnson, Jesse Nelson and Jeremy Nelson. Honorary casketbearers were his friends and co-workers. Burial was in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in Plummer. The Green Funeral Home of Thief River Falls was in charge of the arrangements.
Maximillian Richard Radniecki was born on March 19, 1976 in Breckenridge, the son of Gregory and Donna (Kirby) Radniecki. He was baptized at St. Francis Catholic Church at Breckenridge. The family moved to Thief River Falls in 1981, and Max was confirmed at St. Bernard's Catholic Church. He attended St. Bernard's Elementary School, Washington Elementary School and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1995. Max had been employed by the Pepsi Cola Company since he was a high school sophomore, and he also helped his dad in the family cleaning business.
On February 19, 1999 Max was united in marriage to Kari Tangen in Las Vegas, NV.
He was a member of the Goodridge Lions Club. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and working on old trucks. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Max is survived by his wife, Keri; one daughter, Danielle; his parents, Donna and Gregory Radniecki of Thief River Falls; two brothers, Jay Radniecki of Meridian, MS and Peter Radniecki of Thief River Falls; his grandparents, Dick and LaVonne Radniecki of Thief River Falls and J.D. and Wilma Kirby of El Paso, TX; several aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as his wife Keri's family.
