
Warren - Mildred Qualley, 88, died Sunday, October 22, 2000 at Bethany Good Samaritan Center in Brainerd.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, at Alma Lutheran Church, rural Argyle. Interment was in Alma Lutheran Cemetery with Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home of Warren in charge of the arrangements.
Mildred Nygren was born on May 26, 1912 in Foldahl township of Marshall county, the daughter of Louis and Emma (Olson) Nygren. She grew up and attended school in Foldahl township.
On November 15, 1930, she was united in marriage to John Qualley in Warren. The couple lived in McCrea township of Marshall county for a year before moving to Foldahl township where they farmed. John died on July 14, 1970, and Mildred moved to Warren in 1971. She cooked at various places, including Northwest Bible College in Maple Grove. In 1996, she moved to Pequot Lakes and to Brainerd in 1998.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing and especially spending time with family and friends.
Mildred is survived by three sons, Robert (Marlene) Qualley and Darrel (Joyce) Qualley of Pequot Lakes, and Rev. Ronald (Sandi) Qualley of Fairfax, Va.; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son and daughter-in-law, Lyle and Martha Qualley; a daughter, Wanda Joy; and 10 brothers and sisters. A00003B2000NV01
