Warren - Minnie Potucek, 88, died Friday, June 5, 1998 at the North Valley Health Center in Warren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 9, 1998 at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Warren. The Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home of Warren was in charge of the arrangements.
Minnie Sorenson was born on December 9, 1909 at Viking, the daughter of Edward and Clara (Peterson) Sorenson. She was a life long resident of the Warren area. She attended North Star College and taught at the country school in Comstock township.
On June 11, 1933 she was united in marriage to William Potucek. The couple farmed, and Minnie worked at the Good Samaritan Center in Warren for over 22 years. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and visiting with her friends. She also enjoyed yard work, flowers and baking.
Minnie is survived by one daughter, Barb (Bob) Horien of Thief River Falls and one son, Jim (Linda) of Warren; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Gladys Anderson of Thief River Falls and Doris Kelley of Scapoose, OR.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; one daughter; and five sisters, Clarice, Beverly, Fern, Signey and Alice.
