Red Lake Falls - Marie Pinsonneault, 88, died Tuesday, March 4, 1997 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls. Arrangements were with Petterson Funeral Home in Red Lake Falls.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 8 at St. Joseph Catholic church in Red Lake Falls with Rev. Gary LaMoine officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in the spring.
Casketbearers were Bob Bregier, Mike Mickelson, Brian Berger and Scott Berger.
Marie Cecilia Pinsonneault was born on December 18, 1908 in Crookston, the daughter of Zepherin and Lea (Marchildon) Bregier. She was raised and attended school in Red Lake Falls. She was united in marriage on September 17, 1934 to Napoleon Pinsonneault in Red Lake Falls. Marie worked at Hillcrest Nursing Home for many years.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Guild, also worked with the Catholic Order of Foresters Girls Group. She also made rag rugs.
She is survived by daughter Carol Mickelson of St. Cloud; sons Louis (Pat) of Tucson, AZ, and Paul (Kathy) of Crookston; sister Alice Bregier of Red Lake Falls; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Napoleon on October 16, 1994; brothers Joe and George; and sister Cecilia Moran.
