Minnie Peterson, 82

Lake Park - Minnie Peterson, 82, died Saturday, July 5, l997 at Sunnyside Nursing Home near Lake Park.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9 at the Vigen-Wright Funeral Home in Lake Park with Dorothy Ross, Priest, officiating. Roberta Chatham was the organist. Special music was provided by Clint Felker. Casketbearers were Wally Bloom, Carl Johnson, Milton Johnson, Ellis Peterson, Jene Peterson and Earl Rotzien. Interment was at the First Lutheran Church Cemetery in Audubon.

Minnie Erickson was born in Cormorant township, Minnesota August 6, l914 to Marcus and Amanda Erickson. She attended school in the Lake Park area and graduated from Lake Park High School. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Peterson on September 8, 1940. He died in 1973. Minnie worked for Carl's Lefse Factory in Hawley, and then for a number of years at Sunnyside Nursing Home in rural Lake Park. She is survived by three sons, Mark (Carol) of Nashville, TN, Myron (Juneal) of Thief River Falls and David of Detroit Lakes; two grandchildren; one sister, Althea (Allan) Slingsby of Argusville, ND; three nieces and two nephews.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister, Judith and two brothers, Enoch and Robert.
