Bardolf Pederson, 95

Thief River Falls - Bardolf Pederson, 95, died Tuesday, May 25, 1999 at Oakland Park Nursing Home in Thief River Falls.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 29 at Melo Lutheran Church in rural Warren. Burial was in Melo Lutheran Cemetery. The Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home of Warren was in charge of the arrangements.

Bardolf Christian Pederson was born on October 25, 1903 in Noble, the son of Albert and Anna (Olson) Pederson. He received his elementary education in Helgeland township of Polk county.

On September 20, 1939, he married Edith Alvina Wimpfheimer. The family moved to Tacoma, WA in 1947 where Bardolf worked for Milwaukee Railroad. Edith died on February 26, 1956. In June of 1956, Bardolf and his family moved to Helgeland township where he farmed.

On November 26, 1966, he married Alice Solvik Lund. The couple lived in Helgeland township where Bardolf continued to farm. In April of 1992, Bardolf moved to Oakland Park Nursing Home in Thief River Falls. Alice died on December 30, 1993.

He was a member of Melo Lutheran Church.

Bardolf is survived by two sons, Eddie (Carolyn) of Owatonna and Ronald (Charlotte) of Luck, WI; three daughters, Dorothea (Jack) Bird of Maple Grove, Alvina (John) Olson of Glendale Heights, IL and Betty (Donald) Cameron of West Bank, British Columbia, Canada; seven stepchildren, Ruth (Roger) Helm of Sheridan, WY, Murial (Otto) Kaml of Badger, June (Leslie) Seward of Park Rapids, Edward (Gwen) Solvik of Thief River Falls, Sandra (Thomas) Schmidt of Shakopee, Donna (Michael) Gallager and Lawrence (Sandra) Solvik, both of Warren; and one step daughter-in-law, Carol Solvik of Spencer, IA. Also surviving are grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Edith and Alice; one stepson, Olaf; three brothers, Olaf, Porter and Edmund; and one sister, Alida Pederson. A00003B1999JN02
