
Minneapolis - Ted "TeePee" Pauling, 71, died Tuesday, February 9, 1999 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Minneapolis.
Funeral services were held on Friday, February 12, at 1:30 p.m. at Morris Nilsen Chapel in Minneapolis. Interment was in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Ted was a 52-year member of the V.F.W. and American Legion. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans, a former 9th District commander, state Buddy Poppy chairman, commander of Post 5628, a member of the Honor Guard and a past Seam Squirrel MOC Pup Tents 15, 51, 55 and other offices. He was a member of the White Earth Reservation.
Survivors include his wife, June; two sons, Mike (Diana) and Wade; five daughters, Cheryl (George) Simanovski, Roxy (Jerry) Christenson, Michelle, Kim (David) Jegloski and Joy (David) Schmidt; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five stepchildren, Aubrey and Lowell Johnson, Merleen (Mike) Knott, Pamela Mathieson and Scott (Linda) O'Gara; two sisters-in-law; former wife, Rosemary Pahlen; one aunt; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores; one son, Scott; his mother, Gertrude Olmstead; one brother, E. Warren; and his father, Eugene Pauling. A00003B1999FB17
