Jacob Parsley, 3 months

Oklee - Jacob Parsley, 3 month old son of Wade and Christina Parsley, died on arrival at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls on Monday, February 9, 1998.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 14 at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Oklee with Reverend Robert Paulson officiating. Marian Marquis was the organist. Donna Sherman and LaVonne Enerson sang a vocal duet. Casketbearers were Ron Hamm, Scott Parsley, Jamie Gunderson and Gene Trontvedt. The Petterson Funeral Home of Red Lake Falls was in charge of the arrangements.

Jacob Richard Parsley was born October 11, 1997 at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls, the son of Wade and Christina (Mamerow) Parsley. He was baptized at Salem Lutheran Church near Oklee.

In addition to his parents, Jacob is survived by his grandparents, Myrna (James) Lessard of Oklee, Harold Parsley of Warroad, Vicky (Wayne) Frazer of Oklee, and Mike Mamerow of Oklee; great-grandparents, Myrtle Stonehouse of Oklee, Harley and Frances Parsley of Thief River Falls; Eleanore Baker of Cudahy, WI and Wilber Mamerow of Elkhorn, WI; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, William Baker, Donald Stonehouse and Ilene Mamerow; and two great-uncles.
