Laline Ostby, 70
Roseau - Laline M. Ostby, 70, died Wednesday, November 24, 1999 at the Roseau Area Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 29 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Roseau. Interment was in the Malung Cemetery in Roseau. The Helgeson Funeral Home of Roseau was in charge of the arrangements.
Laline M. Dybedahl was born on January 30, 1929 in Malung township of Roseau county, the daughter of Tillie (Dahlquist) and Carl Dybedahl. She grew up and attended school in the Malung area.
On September 25, 1946 she married Stanley Ostby in Roseau county. The couple lived in Roseau where they raised their family. Laline was employed as a waitress at several restaurants and later started working at Polaris Industries in 1969. She retired in 1991.
Since 1951 she had been an active member of the Roseau VFW Auxiliary.
Laline is survived by four children, Wayne, Joleen, Sheryl and Tracy, all of Roseau; one brother, Armond Dybedahl of Park Rapids; and one sister, IloMae Stahl of Roseau.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley in 1998; one daughter, Peggy; and two brothers, Orville and Harland. A00003B1999DC01
