Isle - James R. Omdahl, 65, died Monday, May 4, 1998 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
Services will be held on Thursday, May 7 at 9 a.m. at the Office of Indian Ministry in Minneapolis. Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 6) at the Office of Indian Ministry. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
James R. Omdahl was born on February 1, 1933 in Warren, the son of Olaf and Ruth Omdahl.
He is survived by his wife, Everyl; one son, Richard (Shelly) Omdahl; two daughters, Sheila (Rocky Tyler) Dakota and Shelly (Doss) Eudy; eight grandchildren; his mother, Ruth Omdahl; two brothers, Richard and Donald Omdahl; and one sister, Meridel Smisek.
James was preceded in death by his father and one son, Ronald.
