Providence Forge, VA - Robert "Bob" Olson, 44, died on April 4, 1997, at his home.
Bob was born November 13, 1952, in Thief River Falls, the son of Norman and Alice Olson. He grew up in Thief River Falls and attended Northrop Elementary school and Lincoln High School. He worked for Hydra-Mac before moving to Nebraska, Georgia and Virginia. He worked for Denton Concrete Roads of Detroit, MI.
He married Donna Wood on September 5, 1992, and the couple made their home in Providence Forge, VA.
Funeral arrangements were made through Nelson Funeral Home of Richmond, VA. Services were held April 6. Burial was at Zion Hill Church Cemetery, Hickory, NC.
He is survived by his wife, brother Richard of Thief River Falls, daughter Denae Taylor of Elk River, son Erick Olson of Shevlin, and many friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, several aunts and uncles.
