Brooklyn Center - Jean M. Olson, 70, died Tuesday, November 4, 1997 in Mesa, AZ.
Funeral services were held Sunday, November 9 at 4 p.m. at the Washburn McReavy DuSchane Chapel in Robbinsdale with Reverend Bruce H. Kjellberg of the Cross Of Glory Lutheran Church officiating. Bob Holmquist was the soloist and Jim Dorn was the organist. Private interment was held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Jean was born on April 9, 1927 in Thief River Falls. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1945, and attended the her 50th class reunion in 1995. She was a retired employee of U.S. West.
Jean is survived by her husband, Carl; three daughters, Lynnette (Dr. Lamberto) Diaz of Ohio, Jacalyn (Tom) Jones of Maple Grove and Barbara (Dean) Anderson of Fridley; one son, Gregory Olson of St. Paul; one brother, George Effinger of Foley; and one aunt.
