Minnetonka - Bette Wiseth Olson, 73, died Sunday, November 5, 2000 at the home of her son, Mark Olson, in Eau Claire, Wisc.
Funeral services were held Thursday, November 9 at Minnetonka Lutheran Church in Minnetonka. Casketbearers were Bette's nephews, Scott and Shawn Groven, Vance and Kurt Wiseth, Terry and Tony Wiseth and Bryan Wiseth. Interment was in Ft. Snelling Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Bette Wiseth was born on October 31, 1927 in Moylan township of Marshall county near Goodridge, the daughter of Roy and Ida (Peterson) Wiseth. She grew up in Goodridge where she graduated from high school.
Bette was united in marriage to Everett "Bud" Olson at Goodridge. The couple resided for a short while in the Thief River Falls, Karlstad and Goodridge areas before eventually making their home in Minnetonka.
She is survived by three sons, Rev. Mark A. (Elaine) of Eau Claire, Wisc., Barry (Diane) of Owatonna and Richard of Minneapolis; a daughter, Joanne (Tim) Hagen of Minneapolis; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandson; three brothers, Lloyd (Sylvia) Wiseth and Kenny (Marilyn) Wiseth, both of Goodridge, and Dean (Ione) Wiseth of Cottage Grove; a sister, Jean (Sherman) Groven of Goodridge; a sister-in-law, Ethel Wiseth of Goodridge; her stepfather, Albert J. Johnson of Goodridge; and many nieces and nephews.
Bette was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother, Robert Wiseth. A00003B2000NV29
