
Thief River Falls - Alice Olson, 91, died Saturday, February 15, 1997 at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls. Arrangements were with Green Funeral Home of Thief River Falls.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 18 at the Green Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dennis Weiland officiating. Burial was held in St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery in Thief River Falls.
Casketbearers were all of Alice's grandchildren.
Alice Annie Mulry was born on September 26, 1905 in Thief River Falls, the daughter of William and Magdalena (Noesen) Mulry. She attended and graduated from Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls. She was united in marriage to Henry Olson on April 26, 1928 in Thief River Falls. She worked in the home until 1957 when she started working at Bjorkmans clothing store in Thief River Falls. She worked for 20 years before retiring. After her retirement, Alice continued to live in Thief River Falls where she has resided all her life.
She is survived by children Ronald (Linda) of Pine River, Marilyn (LeRoy) Bugge of Lillian, AL, and Carol Meyer of St. Paul; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters Loretta and Mary of California; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry; daughter Nathalie Reich; parents; brothers Lawrence and William; and sisters Adeline and Bernadette.
